Overview
Satpura is one of the few tiger reserves where you can see the forest in more than one way. This 2 night, 3 day package pairs jeep safaris in the Madhai zone with a boat safari on the Denwa river and a guided walking safari, so you notice birds, tracks and plants as well as the larger wildlife.
You stay at Gaurisa Resort in Madhai, just 200 metres from the Madhai gate, with a view of the Denwa river, air-conditioned accommodation, a swimming pool and a spa. Meals at the resort are on the APAI plan: breakfast, lunch, hi-tea and dinner.
Jeep outings, boat rides and walks follow the routes, timings and permits set by the forest department, and boating and walking depend on availability. Wildlife sightings can never be guaranteed, but a patient approach and a knowledgeable guide help you appreciate more than a single species.

Refund policy
- No refund on safari bookings.
- 50% refund on accommodation if cancelled 30 days before the trip.
- 25% refund on accommodation if cancelled 15 days before the trip.
- Zero refund on accommodation if cancelled within 15 days before the trip.
Safari timings and permitted routes are set by the forest department and may change with weather and park rules. Your booking is confirmed only after availability is checked.

When can I take this trip?
Most visits to Satpura fall between October and June because the park is closed during the monsoon. Tell us your preferred dates and we will confirm availability.
Are the boat and walking safaris guaranteed?
They depend on forest department permissions and availability. We confirm what is possible when you book, and wildlife sightings can never be guaranteed.
What is the cancellation policy?
Refunds are given only on accommodation: 50% if you cancel 30 days before the trip, 25% if you cancel 15 days before, and none within 15 days. There is no refund on safari bookings, and a 100% advance is needed to book.
