Terms and Conditions

These terms explain how bookings with Bandhavgarh Jungle Safari work: what we do, what we ask of you, and what happens if plans change. Please read them before you confirm a trip.

Last updated: 27 October 2026

About these terms

These Terms and Conditions apply to every enquiry, booking and service arranged through this website and through Bandhavgarh Jungle Safari (“we”, “us”, “our”). By sending an enquiry, making a booking or using this website you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not book with us.

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in force when you confirm your booking are the ones that apply to it.

What we do

We help travellers plan and book trips to Bandhavgarh National Park. Depending on your booking, this can include jeep safaris, resort stays, transfers and guide arrangements.

We arrange these services with third parties, such as resorts, lodges, drivers, naturalists and the forest department. Those parties provide their services under their own rules. We take care in choosing them, but they are independent of us.

Enquiries, bookings and confirmation

Sending an enquiry through our forms, by phone, email or WhatsApp does not create a booking. We first check availability and send you the details and total price. Your booking is confirmed only when we confirm it in writing and any payment we ask for has been received.

Quotes are based on availability and prices at the time. They may change until the booking is confirmed. Please check that names, dates and the number of guests in your confirmation are correct, and tell us about any mistake straight away.

Prices and payment

The price and what it includes, such as meals, transfers, naturalist fees or safari vehicles, are set out in your quote and confirmation. Anything not listed is not included. We will tell you how and when to pay, and any advance amount, at the time of booking.

Prices can change before confirmation because of season, availability or government fees. The price in your written confirmation applies to the services listed there. If the government or a service provider introduces a new charge that we cannot avoid, we will tell you before it affects you.

Safari permits and park rules

Safari entry is controlled by the forest department. Permits are issued for a particular zone and time slot, and every guest must carry a valid government photo ID. The name on the permit must match the ID, so please give us names exactly as they appear on it.

  • Zones, timings, vehicle limits and routes are set by the authorities and can change, sometimes at short notice.
  • Routes inside a zone are usually allotted at the gate.
  • The core zones are generally closed during the monsoon.
  • If you miss your slot or arrive late, the permit may be lost without a refund.

You must follow the park rules and your guide’s instructions at all times. This includes staying seated, keeping noise down, not feeding or disturbing wildlife, and no flash photography.

Wildlife is wild

Bandhavgarh has one of the highest tiger densities in India, but we cannot promise that you will see a tiger or any other animal. Sightings depend on luck, season and conditions. A safari without a sighting is still a completed safari and is not a reason for a refund.

Your responsibilities

You agree to:

  • give us accurate and complete details for every guest, including photo ID details
  • arrive on time for transfers, safaris and check-in
  • look after your own health and tell us in advance about any medical condition, disability or dietary need that may affect your trip
  • supervise children in your group at all times
  • behave respectfully towards staff, other guests, local communities and wildlife
  • pay for any damage you cause to property

We may refuse or end a service, without a refund, if a guest breaks park rules, acts unsafely or threatens the safety of others or of wildlife.

Changes and events outside our control

Sometimes things change for reasons we cannot control, such as park closures, government orders, severe weather, road conditions, natural events, strikes or the unavailability of a resort or vehicle. If this happens we will tell you as soon as we can and try to offer a suitable alternative or a new date.

Where a service cannot be provided at all, our Cancellation Policy explains what refund applies. We are not responsible for extra costs you incur outside our arrangements, such as non-refundable flights or train tickets.

Cancellations and refunds

If you want to cancel or change a booking, please see our Cancellation Policy. In short, the safari part of a package is not refundable, and accommodation is refunded 50%, 25% or not at all depending on how early you cancel.

Our responsibility to you

Travel in and around a tiger reserve involves some risk, including from wildlife, weather, rough roads and the forest itself. You take part in safaris and other activities at your own risk, and you should follow all instructions from guides and staff.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss, injury, illness, delay or expense caused by events outside our reasonable control, by the acts or omissions of independent third parties, or by your failure to follow rules or instructions. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for our own fraud.

We strongly recommend that you take out travel and medical insurance.
